Welcome to a New Year of Rotary Service in Lompoc!

Dear fellow Rotarians, friends, and members of the Lompoc community,

As the 2026-27 Rotary year begins, I am honored to serve as president of the Lompoc Rotary Club. For over 100 years, our club has served the Lompoc community through friendship, leadership, and meaningful action. I am excited to continue that tradition and to see what we can accomplish together in the year ahead.

Rotary has always been at its best when people of action come together, build friendships, and turn care into service. This year, Rotary’s theme, Create Lasting Impact, reminds us that even simple acts of service can strengthen lives, neighborhoods, and communities in meaningful ways. My focus is simple: grow our club’s membership, deepen engagement among fellow Rotarians, and increase our support for the Lompoc community through charitable giving and smaller service projects.

We know that service does not always have to be large or complicated to make a real difference. Whether through our club’s charitable giving or by gathering a few Rotarians on a Saturday morning to support a local nonprofit, help a school, clean up a neighborhood space, mentor youth, or lend professional skills, we can create lasting impact. By offering a variety of service opportunities, I hope every Rotarian can find a project that fits their schedule, interests, and talents.

I also invite the Lompoc community to be part of this work. If you are looking for a way to meet caring people, give back locally, and make Lompoc stronger, Rotary may be the place for you. Membership is not just about attending meetings. It is about building friendships, sharing a purpose, and committing to serving others.

To our current Rotarians, I hope this year brings opportunities to reconnect, engage, and invite others in. Bring a guest to a meeting. Join a service project. Share an idea. Say yes to helping in a small way. Every act of service matters, and every Rotarian has something valuable to contribute.
